Corporate Plan

Welcome to North Dorset District Council’s Corporate Plan for 2008 - 2013. This publication sets out how we, along with partners, will bring improvements in the District over the coming years.

Our Corporate Plan for Improvement fulfils our legal requirement to publish Best Value Performance Plan information, and gives details of what we have achieved over the past year, together with our plans for future years. The plan sets out the priority areas that have been identified as being important to you and how we intend to deliver in those areas.

Any organisation, whether in the public or private sector, must have focus and direction. It needs to be clear about what it is trying to achieve and why. Our Corporate Plan for Improvement focuses on the big picture – what our priorities are, when we intend to deliver them and how all of this can help make a difference to our quality of life.
