This set of web pages contains a list of Literature, Disability and Visual Arts events that will be taking place in the near future. Visual Arts events include exhibitions, workshops, classes and there's also a section listing artists opportunities. The Arts and Disability pages contain information about events that have been devised by or are aimed at those with disabilities and the Literature section covers events in Libraries, local reading groups and literature events being promoted by arts organisations. |

| To use the database, click on a type of event on the list to the right of the screen. You'll notice that once you've clicked, for example, 'Workshops & Classes' you can then define your search even further by clicking either visual arts, arts and disability or literature on the smaller drop down menu. |

| If you'd like to add something to the database, simply use the drop down box under 'Submission Forms' and select the appropriate artform for your event. Once submitted, one of the arts officers at Dorset County Council will approve the entry and it'll automatically be added to the list of events. |

| Events will be removed from the database once they are out of date. |

| Printed editions of the arts listings are published quarterly in January, April, July, October. The deadline for the printed editions is the 15th of the previous month. |
