Ibberton
Ibberton village lies at the foot of Bulbarrow Hill, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Blackmore Vale. Examples of cross dykes, strip lynchets and round barrows can be seen on the surrounding hills.
The village has several listed buildings in its Conservation Area, including a 17th century manor house, now a working farm, and several thatched cottages.
The simple 15th century church has fragments of Tudor stained glass in two windows, a Jacobean oak screen and a rare copy of the Book of Homilies published in 1673.
