Plans of the premises are to be at a scale of 1:100 and should include

  • The extent of the boundary of the building, and any internal walls and external walls if different to the perimeter
  • The location of doors into and out of the building
  • Any other escape routes from the premises
  • If the premises is to be used for more than one licensable activity, the area where each activity will take place
  • Fixed structures (including furniture)
  • Any objects temporarily in a fixed location (not furniture) such as pool tables or gaming machines which may impact on the ability of individuals to use exits or escape routes
  • Any stages or raised areas, including the location and height relative to the floor
  • Any steps, stairs, elevators or lifts
  • Public conveniences
  • Fire safety or other safety equipment
  • Kitchen

The Plan may show the above by means of symbols, and if so a legend should be included
