Butts Pond Local Nature Reserve

Project Description

Butts Pond Meadow is a 2 hectare area of open space in the built up area of Sturminster Newton.  The Meadows are a valuable wildlife habitat, with a resident population of Great Crested Newts and the proposals include developing the site for nature conservation, achieivng local nature reserve status, improving public access on footpaths and cycle ways.
