Keeping yourself fit and healthy is not all about punishing yourself by pounding out the miles until you can’t run anymore, there are many ways to improve your fitness without doing yourself damage and whilst having some fun at the same time. One of these is to join other people in their quest by joining in a fitness class.

North Dorset Leisure Centres currently run a comprehensive schedule of fitness classes that range from low intensity low impact classes such as aquafit and Over 50’s sessions to high energy workouts that include circuits and boxer circuits. Classes are also run where you decide the intensity such as swiss ball classes and Spinning.
Some of the new adult classes that are taking place for the first time across North Dorset Leisure Centres are Swiss ball classes, boxer circuits, cardio kick boxing and low impact over 50’s classes. These classes can be enjoyed with a friend, can help you improve your level of fitness or get you fit for a specific event. We look forward to seeing you at a class soon.
So this month why not try something new, if you’re not sure why not bring along a friend for support. You never know you both may just enjoy it!
