Whether you are a club looking for a venue to train and compete, or an individual looking to join a club, Sturminster Newton Leisure Centre has something to suit everybody.

Badminton

Badminton is always a favourite, and at Sturminster Newton Leisure Centre it is just that. The Sports hall offers four superb badminton courts available for hire.  Whether it’s recreational or competitive activity you’re looking for, you will be catered for. 

Table Tennis

Table tennis has become the world's largest participation sport, with 40 million competitive players worldwide and countless millions playing recreationally.  Why not see what you’re missing out on by hiring a table tennis table.

Mini-Tennis

Anyone for tennis? If so, this is the ideal activity to hone your skills. With our 4 courts there is always a court available.  Played on a reduced size court, with sponge balls and smaller rackets it is perfect for players of all abilities.

Sports Hall
The superb Sports Area has the capacity for up to four badminton courts; a 5-a-side football pitch; basketball court; volleyball court; indoor hockey pitch; and cricket nets.

Studio
The studio is a great sized, warm intimate room. The studio is designed primarily to accommodate Shaftesbury’s varied range of exercise classes.  It is used equally for meetings and workshops.  This is a fantastic room for medium sized groups.

In order to benefit from the reduced club booking fees of 17.5% on normal booking prices, each club must take out an annual club membership of £33.50.
