Great Dorset Steam Fair

Wednesday 27th - Sunday 31st August 2008

The Great Dorset Steam Fair is widely recognised as the World's leading steam and vintage vehicle preservation event and is attended every year by over 200,000 people from the UK and from all over the World. 2008 sees the Great Dorset Steam Fair in its 40th year.

Every year the show expands and new features join the 2000 working exhibits (including 200 working steam engines) on the incredible 600-acre showground. The 40th Anniversary show is sure to be exciting and to celebrate reaching this milestone there will be special displays and attractions including a recreation of the very first event.

For more information visit the Great Dorset Steam Fair website.
