The Council publishes a weekly list of all planning applications received. The Weekly Lists are posted in date order and are available for viewing by visiting Weekly Lists.
You are able to view information on past and current application online here. (User Guide).
You are also able to view hard copies of past and current applications at North Dorset District Council’s Offices in Nordon, Salisbury Road, Blandford. Please follow signs to the Planning Department. Our contact details and opening hours are available by viewing our Contacts page.
Alternatively, your local town or parish council receives copies of planning applications within their parish, and may make them available to you. You will need to contact the town or parish clerk to arrange this. Their names and contact details can be viewed by visiting the Parish & Town Councils page.
For those applications that go to the Development Control Committe, you can view the Planning Officers report to Committee by visiting the Development Control Agenda page. The Agenda (including the Officers Reports) for the forthcoming Committee date will be available for viewing 5 days before the date of the Committee meeting.
Viewing Decisions Made
Decisions made on applications that go before the Development Control Committee are published on a monthly basis in the Development Control Minutes.
In addition, you can view weekly lists of decisions made by viewing our Decisions Made page.
Viewing Appeals
You can view details of Appeals lodged, Appeal Decisions, details of Appeals that have been withdrawn and details of costs awarded against the Council in connection with Appeals by visiting our Appeals page. These details are published monthly.
