The Silton Wind Park Planning Application
Please be advised that a special Development Control Committee will determine this application as a single item on its own. It will be held at 10am on Thursday 2nd July 2009 at the Olive Bowl in Gillingham. (The Olive Bowl, Unit 23 Brickfield Business Park, Gillingham, Dorset, SP8 4HB)
Please be aware that due to the number of correspondences concerning this application we are unable to write to each or any individual correspondent.
If you have made any representations either in support or objection to this application and wish to speak at the Committee meeting, please contact Jacqui Andrews (email: jandrews@north-dorset.gov.uk), Democratic Services, North Dorset District Council, Nordon, Salisbury Road, Blandford Forum, DT11 7LL.
Although there will be a longer period than normal for interested parties to make oral representations at this Committee meeting, objectors and supporters should put forward a spokesperson or people to represent their collective views. The Chairman is unlikely to allow the same points to be infinitely repeated by different objectors or supporters.
Please note that the DC Committee is thoroughly familiar with the site, having attended with planning officers a site visit earlier this year, including viewing the site from a number of near and distant viewing points from where the turbines may be seen.
