Land drainage
The Council is the local Land Drainage Authority for non-main rivers.
Main rivers, eg the lower reaches of the River Stour, are the responsibility of the Environment Agency.
Dorset County Council is responsible for highway drainage and the maintenance of the roadside drainage gullies.
Foul and surface water sewers are the responsibility of Wessex Water.
