Monitoring

Residential Development

Housing Development throughout the District is monitored in partnership with Dorset County Council on an annual basis. Residential Land Availability Surveys are carried out in April and May every year, which monitor not only new dwellings but also conversions, change of use and residential losses.

Housing completions and other monitoring data covering area like economy, enviornment, community and transport is submitted annually at a regional and national level. This monitoirng information is also used to monitor the policies of the District Wide Local Plan relating to the scale and distribution of development (Policies 2.1 & 2.3) as well as those in the Structure Plan are met.
