Special/Bulky Collections

The Council can provide a collection service for larger items and ‘white goods’.

• All individual items are £10.50 each per collection.
• Double bed and mattress is £18.00 per collection.
• A load of 7 items or more is £68.00, subject to quotation.
• There is a £3.50 fee per cancellation.

Payment is to be made in advance by either:

• Cheque/postal order payable to 'North Dorset District Council'.
• By telephone with a credit or debit card, contact details below.

You will need to give details of your name, address, telephone number, details of the item(s) to be collected. The item(s) will need to be outside ready for collection.

Collections normally take place 7-10 days from payment, however North Dorset District Council will contact you by telephone the day before to confirm the collection day; we are unable to give a collection time, this will usually be between 7am - 3pm.
