Mixed hereditament dwellings

These are premises which have both a domestic and a commercial property element - such as a public house.

The commercial users of such properties are required to pay for their waste service, either with NDDC or an independent collector

Domestic occupants within these properties could also be charged for refuse to be collected, but the council allows two black refuse sacks per week from the domestic dwellings.

If somebody has more than two bags of refuse, they can either paid for it to be removed as commercial waste or they can take it free of charge to their nearest household waste recycling centre.
