Private Land

North Dorset District Council cannot collect fly tipping from private land. This is the land owner’s responsibility.

If the land owner refuses to act, and the fly tipping is of significance to Public Health (spreading disease or attracting vermin) – i.e. domestic refuse, food waste, chemicals etc it can be reported to the Environmental Health department.

Please call Customer Contact at North Dorset District Council on (01258) 454111 or email customerservices@north-dorset.gov.uk for more details of this service.
