Dead Animal Report Form - Domestic Pets

To notify NDDC of a dead pet on the highway please email NDDC at customerservices@north-dorset.gov.uk and include in your email:

  • Your name
  • Your contact number
  • Your address
  • Location of the Animal- See below
  • Type of Animal - See below

We will respond to your concern within a maximum of 2 working days.

 

Location of Animal

Please give as much detail as possible to ensure we are able to locate the problem i.e. road name, land marks etc.

Please remember it is the land owner’s responsibility to clear any area that is not council owned, or adopted highway.

Type of Animal

Please indicate what the animal is e.g. Dog, Cat etc

Please note NDDC does not remove small wild animals from the highway e.g. Rabbits, Pheasants, Squirrels and Hedgehogs etc.
