Business clubs

Business clubs offer advice and support.

Two business clubs meet every other month in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The clubs are run by North Dorset District Council in partnership with Business Link Wessex.

Each club meets at 6.30pm for supper, two six-minute presentations from the membership, and an expert business speaker. Meetings finish around 9pm and are held in different locations. Wherever you are in North Dorset there is a club for you.

Subjects covered at business club meetings in the last year have had speakers on topics such as Recruitment and Training.

What does it cost?

Membership to the clubs is free for businesses from the engineering, manufacturing and service industries.  You only pay the cost of the supper.

What are the benefits?

The members say "Its really good to meet like-minded business people, in a friendly environment, and learn ways of improving business skills and knowledge.”
