Sport & Recreation Grants Scheme

This is open to any constituted club, group or organisation based within and or with a membership mainly resident within North Dorset whose activities are predominantly associated with sport and recreation.

What can you apply for?

Purchase of land or equipment, construction of play areas and pavilions, upgrade and limited refurbishment of facilities.

If you have a project that you think might qualify please contact us to discuss the details.

Coach Scholarship and Training Grants

Any active coach or leader working in, or committed to working in North Dorset can apply for these grants.They are awarded towards the cost of training courses in sport, recreation and play or generic qualifications such as first aid or child protection.

Grant Finder

The Council has access to a national database of other funding opportunities that we can search on your behalf. If you have a project, and you need help finding some of the funds call (01258) 484270 or email the details of the project to sportsdev@north-dorset.gov.uk. We will then conduct a search for you and forward any potential grants available to you. Please include as many of the key details from the project as possible, as the searching will rely on this information.
