Winterborne Kingston Play Park
Project Description
This project, which was identified in the local parish plan as a priority, was to
upgrade the play park to provide equipment and facilities for toddlers, juniors and accompanying adults.

Amount Awarded
£35,125 which represented 80% of the total project cost.
Amount Levered
£7880 including local fundraising, a contribution from NDDC’s Sports & Recreation
Fund and £5000 secured from Awards for All following advice from the Liveability Team.

need to encourage community involvement and ownership of public open space.

Lessons Learnt
Crucial to focus on the priorities of the Action Plan coming out of the Parish Planning
process to give local confidence in the plan's value.
